Miniature Southdown Babydoll Sheep are a small breed of naturally polled (no horns) sheep. They are non-aggressive and don't typically bother fences. The miniature babydoll sheep must be less than 24 inches at the shoulder to be registered. They have a beautiful smile and a great personality, making them great companions. Since Babydoll sheep are a heritage breed, they are not prone to many of the modern diseases and parasites that newer breeds are typically more susceptible to. Their small size and lack of horns make them ideal for training our border collies. Babydoll sheep have many uses. They have a medium to fine wool with a lot of crimp and loft. We use their wool to make roving and yarn. Their wool is also great for needle felting. The babydoll sheep also have flavorful meat. They have been used to mow orchards. Our sheep are registered with the Olde English"Babydoll" Miniature Southdown Sheep Registry. We currently have lambs ready for sale.
